Playson grows in Romania’s “critical sector” – signs online casino supply agreement with MaxBet Entertainment Group

After recently establishing a footprint in Latin America, Playson has agreed to supply content to gambling operator MaxBet Entertainment Group Plc for its Romania-facing online casino brand, MaxBet.ro.

The agreement grants the leading gaming operator in Central and Eastern Europe (CCE) access to Playson’s diverse portfolio of slot titles, which includes the wildlife-themed Wolf Power: Hold and Win, 3 Fruits Win: Double Hit, and Legend of Cleopatra: Megaways, Playson’s first title to feature the player-favorite mechanic.

The new partnership significantly strengthens the Romanian operator’s online casino offering, while also demonstrating Playson’s continued growth in the region and beyond following a significant expansion of its content offering and consistent expansion of its international footprint.

Blanka Homor, Playson’s sales director, stated in a business news release that the partnership with MaxBet is a “positive move for the company” because it “has a leadership position in the vital market of Romania.”

Homor stated, “Our multi-award-winning product has continued to develop and grow in recent weeks with an innovative selection of new mechanics and gaming titles, and we have no doubt that it will prove extremely helpful for our new partner.”

Maxbet Entertainment Group LTD was founded in 2002 and has grown to become Central and Eastern Europe’s largest gaming and family entertainment operator, with over 160 land-based facilities in Romania (MaxFun), Italy (Joy Village), and Belarus, encompassing over 8,000 betting venues in 50 towns.

Additionally, MaxBet’s Chief Executive Officer, Victor Rusinov, stated that they are “thrilled to be launching with Playson, a world-class provider with a broad and diverse assortment of products that have been successful globally.”

He said that they are looking forward to collaborating with their new partner and “have no doubt” that the relationship would “deliver a plethora of benefits to both firms in the coming time.”

Meanwhile, just prior to the latest tie-up, Playson announced a deal that will see the casino games and software developer provide its content suite to Latin America-based platform provider BetConnections and its operator network, including popular titles such as Rich Diamonds: Hold and Win, Solar Queen, and Divine Dragon: Hold and Win.

The move within the LatAm region strengthens the company’s footprint on the continent and accelerates its expansion in the region, which has been bolstered by the signing of various strategic partnerships with industry-leading commercial partners.

Playson has also significantly strengthened its product offering in recent months with the launch of a number of successful games and the introduction of its new Reel of Fortune advertising tool.

The latest addition to the developer’s integration-free suite of engagement tools, which already includes Network Jackpots, “Free Spins,” Feature Trigger, and Network Tournaments, the feature allows players to collect coins by wagering on one of the developer’s exciting slots before proceeding to the Reel of Fortune, where they can win cash prizes.

According to Playson’s Homor, the company has grown from strength to strength in Latin America in 2021, and working with “an innovative platform provider such as BetConnections demonstrates that success.”

She said that recent product enhancements, such as the Reel of Fortune advance, in addition to a new user interface (UI), have elevated their service to a “new level,” and they look forward to continuing to do so.
